A LUXURY VACATION TO THE UYUNI SALT FLATS

The mesmerisingly bright Salar de Uyuni is the largest salt flat in the world and one of the most impressive highlights of Bolivia.

Located in in the southwestern Altiplano region at over 3,653 metres above sea level, here you will find otherworldly pentagons of crystalline salt, set against a backdrop of lagoons, volcanoes, flora, flamingos and boundless skies.

Be sure to visit some of the area’s most breathtaking spots – including the spectacularly diverse Eduardo Abaroa National Reserve and its Laguna Colorado, best known for its flocks of flamingos and the red tone of its waters.  We will also be sure you don’t miss the boiling lava and volcanic craters at the Sol de Manaña geysers, or the emerald green and turquoise Laguna Verde.

A jaw-dropping sight year round, it is best to visit during the dry months from May – October. During the rainy season, the salt flats take on a mirror-like quality acting as a natural mirror and reflecting the sky in an impressive visual display.
