What we love about Club De Patos
- With only nine rooms, there’s a sense of intimacy and privacy
- There are plenty of activities on offer to lure you into the surrounding dunes, jungle, cenotes, and water
- Birdwatching is spectacular with more than 70 bird species within the hotel’s garden alone
- Nearby to the quiet fishing village, Sisal, named one of Mexico’s ‘magic towns’
- The restaurant at Club de Patos creates fresh Mexican dishes using only local ingredients found within a 45km radius
- The hotel is next to El Palmar Nature Reserve which protects hundreds of bird and aquatic species
- Club de Patos is committed to conserving and protecting the area’s rich ecosystem
Spend the morning fishing in nearby cenotes, and the afternoon wandering along deserted white sandy beaches.
At dusk, silently weave through the mangroves in a canoe to observe crocodiles and colonies of flamingos.
For those seeking adventure, discover the exhilaration of kite surfing, bike along trails through nature reserves, or go scuba diving in nearby cenotes and caves.
After your expeditions, doze in hammocks to the sound of the waves lapping the shoreline or re-energise with a yoga class.
Club de Patos is located in Sisal, a fishing village 46 kilometers north of Mérida. There are direct flights to Merida’s International Airport from other Mexican cities such as Mexico City and Cancun. From the airport, it is a 1-hour drive to Club de Patos.

When
to Travel
The Yucatán peninsula has a tropical climate with daytime temperatures rarely dipping below 25°C. Between December and April is the best time to visit as calm skies and predictable seas make for the best snorkelling, diving and fishing.
